Welcome
Welcome to Community Church of God’s Word! This church is all about Jesus. It’s about
His love for us that was shown out during His earthly life where He went about doing only
good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. (Acts 10:38)
Jesus desires that we live our lives in His victory; the victory He had when He went to the
cross in our place and paid the price for all sin. At the cross Jesus finished the work He
came here to do by becoming our substitute and dying our death. For those who believe
in Him and receive His sacrifice, He gives right standing with the Father and eternal life
with Him.
Our eternal life starts the moment we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. But it’s not
just about the afterlife; it’s about living life on this earth fully and victoriously in and
through Jesus Christ. (John 10:10)
Jesus wants us to face life expecting to be victorious because of His finished work at the
cross. And although we are not immune to trouble in this world (John 16:33), knowing
that God is with us, fighting our battles gives us great peace and unspeakable joy.
